This year's Chattanooga Area Leadership Prayer Breakfast was held Tuesday May 2, 2017. 

John Aden, an expert in senior leadership roles, was the main speaker. Audio of the 2017 event can be heard in its entirety below.



John Aden 

John Aden has served in senior leadership roles for several large companies, including Frito-Lay, Mac Tools, and Walmart until his retirement in 2015. Today he is a consultant for private equity companies, chairman of Twelve Stones, LLC, a team building a sustainable and conservation-minded beef cattle business, and a board member of the CEO Forum.

At Walmart, John played a key role in expanding business in Africa and India. On the USA side, he was executive vice president of general merchandise and later, senior vice president of hardline merchandising.

John and his wife Kristal have been married for more than 20 years, with children Julia and Joey. John is a novice photographer, a lover of the outdoors, and a huge baseball fan. He has a degree in economics from the University of Washington.

This is a totally volunteer organization and all expenses are for the main speaker, the vendors, and the suppliers for the Breakfast. Every year a shortfall has to be covered and the Task Force has always tried to do that in advance. For 2017, the Task Force needs about $5,000 to cover expenses.
